The Casiotone 1000P was the very first programmable casio synthesizer. It is a sine wave synthesizer with a programmable arpeggiator. Here are some of the synth specs:
Number of Keys
Chords
Preset Sounds
Programmable Sounds
Programmable Features
Arpeggiator
Effects
I just put up a video on youtube showing off the presets. I'll put up another one soon showing how to program sounds and patterns. Enjoy!
Thanks for looking. Feel free to explore my blog for other casio synthesizers.

Hello, i´d like to know if you have the electrial circuit diagram of the Casiotone 1000P. I bougth a bad one, and i´m trying to fix it... I hope you have the plans or maybe know where to find them. Best regards!
There is a link to a schematic download on the casiotone 1000p facebook page. Hope it helps. If not would u want to sell yours? Thx
Thanks, i´ll read it!
Any way, i can tell you that: If you switch on the keyboard, it doesn´t sounds. But, if you switch it on with a key pressed (anyone) it plays a note and make noises if the effects keys are pressed... At least the Amplifier is ok! The problem must be an IC.
Would you buy it??! I live in Chile, don´t know if it´s good for sending the machine to your country...
Best regards!
I just picked up one of these and the encoder that should control the arpeggio tempo doesn't work. I checked the solders and they all look good. Is there anything I can replace or check on the board to try to fix that?
